Meditation 101, our beginner’s course, teaches the foundations of mindfulness-based meditation. It’s aimed at those wishing to learn directly the benefits of meditation – things like improved sleep, better focus and concentration, being able to relax the body and calm the mind, manage pain, develop patience and discover more joy and beauty in life.

The next beginner’s course will run in Term 1, 2022, on Tuesdays for 8 weeks
Start Date: Tuesday February 8, 2022
Last Class: Tuesday March 29, 2022
Time: 7:30pm – 8:45pm
Venue: Studio 4, Maroondah Federation Estate, Greenwood Ave, Ringwood.
We are in the old primary school part of the estate – park in the carpark closest to Greenwood Ave and come through the green wooden doors. Studio 4 is the fourth door on the left down the hallway.
Course Fee: $80
Equipment: Chairs, stools, cushions, mats, blankets, notebooks and pens provided.
COVID Safety: We will be operating under whatever COVID safety and vaccination rules are in place at the commencement of the course.
Important Note: If you are seeing a doctor, psychologist, psychiatrist or other mental health professional, or have suffered from trauma or a mental health problem in the past, you should only participate in meditation upon their recommendation.
